2025 Professional Liability Roundtable
Thursday, May 15
Cornell University, ILR School, NYC Conference Center
Sponsored by the IADC Professional Liability Committee, Medical Defense and Health Law Committee, and Insurance and Reinsurance Committee, the Professional Liability Roundtable (PLR) is a one-day CLE program. Through a series of interactive panel discussions, PLR creates a forum for in-house counsel, outside counsel, and insurance claims representatives to learn together and discuss new developments in the professional liability arena. Beyond the educational opportunity, PLR participants are able to network with lawyers and industry professionals from multiple jurisdictions both during the program and at a concluding reception.
Programming Content
PLR includes afternoon tracks for professional liability and medical liability, as well as morning insurance programs, making this a full-day multi-specialty roundtable. All attendees participate in the final closing panel and concluding reception.
Your registration is the same whether you choose to attend the entire day of programming, or if you choose to only attend either the morning or afternoon sessions. If you will be attending the afternoon sessions, please select a program track when registering.
Schedule
Morning Sessions: 8:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Afternoon Sessions: 12:45 p.m. - 4:40 p.m.
Lunch will be provided during the morning session. All participants are invited to attend the concluding reception.
**If you are planning to attend programming in the afternoon, you must select the track you will attend (i.e. Professional Liability Track or the Medical Liability Track).**
Health and Safety
The IADC is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for meeting attendees and will follow all local requirements with regard to COVID-19. At present, that does not require attendees to be tested for COVID-19 before attending the meeting nor are masks required in any public spaces. However, we support everyone doing what makes them feel comfortable with regard to mask wearing, shaking hands or hugging, and we ask attendees to respect the choices of others. If you are not feeling well, please refrain from attending IADC events, and we encourage you to bring and utilize COVID-19 rapid tests if you are symptomatic.
