Critical Aspects of a Neuropsychiatric IME in TBI Cases

Critical Aspects of a Neuropsychiatric IME in TBI Cases
This Webinar will focus on critically important neuropsychiatric and legal concepts and how their application has led to brain injury cases being won or lost by plaintiff and defense counsel. It will address the entirety of the IME process, starting with what each relevant specialist(s) should be asked to do in the case, how their work should be coordinated, what types of psychometrics and neuroradiological studies are useful or not, what to do about fighting or not fighting the admissibility of new scientific tests (specifically including diffusion tensor imaging and biomarkers), how to explain neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioral injuries and functional limitations to the jury, how to address permanency and disability, how to deal with treatability and treatment noncompliance, and what neuropsychiatric and legal trends all TBI attorneys need to know how to ask their experts to address. Webinars are complimentary. Please note that the IADC does NOT apply for CLE Credit for its webinars. However, attendees are welcome to apply for and/or claim credit as their jurisdictions allow. Please contact your state accrediting agency for state-specific requirements and rules.
