This Webinar will explore the shifting landscape in TCPA jurisprudence. We will examine the various interpretations of “automatic telephone dialing system” since ACA International, the anticipated further guidance from the Federal Communications Commission, how courts have treated previously-binding orders and may treat new orders from the Federal Communications Commission, and the Commission’s December 12, 2018 decision to establish a comprehensive reassigned number database and corresponding safe harbor provision. It will also look at the Court’s varying treatment of vicarious liability claims against non-calling entities. This Webinar will provide practical guidance for defending current TCPA claims and avoiding future TCPA claims.
