The title of this Webinar is deliberately ambiguous. The target audience is member firm's younger associates who are waiting for their first trial. The presenters will instruct on the basics, but do so anecdotally and in an entertaining fashion, with examples from the pre-trial prep, pre-trial motion, jury selection, openings, evidence, and closings from their own "first trials".

Learning Objectives:
• The Webinar's educational focus is for younger associates. One of the objectives is to help demystify that "first trial" for a relatively new lawyer vie panelist's recollections of their own first experiences.
• Offer "nuts and bolts" advice, i.e., where to stand, when to stand, when to sit, how to ask for a side bar, how to ask to approach a witness, and dealing with subpoenaed witnesses.
• While substantive technique in various aspects of trial work is not the main focus, the Webinar will also offer insight on effective openings, witness exams, voir dire, and closings.
