The Future of Welfare Plan Litigation: What We Can Learn from Retirement Plan Litigation

This program will review retirement plan litigation to see what welfare plans can learn and what the future holds for welfare plan litigation. The program will discuss process, procedures, and preventative measures welfare plans and plan fiduciaries might consider adopting to avoid retirement plan pitfalls. The topic is of interest to welfare plan sponsors, administrators, insurers, and those serving as or advising anyone in a fiduciary capacity with respect to any kind of welfare plan (health, disability, life etc.) - including employers, law firms, health insurers, disability insurers, life insurers, stop-loss insurers, and third-party administrators.
