Climate Change Litigation Across the Globe

Climate Change Litigation Across the Globe
Climate Change Litigation Across the Globe

Climate change litigation has grown exponentially in recent years as governments, environmental activists, and also individuals seek to hold especially oil and gas companies liable for alleged contributions to and damages caused by climate crisis, and consumer protection associations and investors file Greenwashing claims alleging that companies have misled them by overstating their environmental success.

Environmental and Energy Law Committee Chair Daniel E. Krauth (Zimmer Kunz, PLLC) will speak with panelists Mark L. Clark (Parsons McEntire McCleary, PLLC), Daniela Karollus-Bruner (CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz Rechtsanwalte GmbH), and Manuel Moctezuma (Moctezuma Castro S.C.) who will discuss the developments in climate change litigation, the basis of the claims, the defenses asserted, and future trends expected.
