Health and Safety Protocols
Mexican authorities do not require foreign nationals to be vaccinated or tested for COVID-19 before attending the meeting. Masks are not required in any public spaces. With regards to safety, increased caution is recommended particularly at night, outside of the frequented tourist areas. The meeting will be held in the Polanco area where police patrol frequently. Petty crime occurs frequently in both tourist and non-tourist areas. Do not wear expensive watches or jewerly. There are no restrictions on travel for U.S. citizens in Mexico City.
Transportation
The major airport serving Mexico City is the Mexico City International Airport (MEX AICM). US carriers fly nonstop to Mexico City from major US cities. UBER and authorized taxi services must be used. Porto Taxi, Nueva Imagen and Excelencia are authorized taxi companies servicing from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at the Mexico City Airport. Depending on the time of day and traffic, the distance from Mexico City Airport to suggested hotels is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Registration Instructions
Every attendee must register themselves for the Regional Meeting (IADC member or non-member), and you need to be logged in with a username and password in order to register. If you have ever attended an IADC meeting before, you already have a username and password. If you cannot remember your password, please email Maddie Pangyarihan, Meetings Coordinator at mpangyarihan@iadclaw.org.
If this is your first time registering for an event, you will need to create an account when prompted on the registration page and then continue with your registration.
When registering, please select the "Register Myself" button, then answer the question and press the “Save Response” button, followed by the "Proceed to Checkout" button, and finally the "Submit Order" button in order to complete your registration.
