Registration and Cancellation Information



Member, Non-Member and Emeritus Member, Corporate Counsel/Insurance Executive (FULL MEETING Registrants), Spouse/Significant Other/Adult Guest: Fee includes breakfasts, Welcome Reception, Theme Party, Closing Party, various receptions, committee meetings, CLE programs, and meeting materials.

Two-Day Corporate Counsel and Insurance Executive Package (for corporate counsel and insurance executives ONLY): Fee includes breakfasts, committee meetings, CLE programs, and any social events for general attendees on any two consecutive days of your choosing.

*Spouses/Significant Others/Adult Guests who would like to receive CLE credit must register separately under the R1-Member/Non-Member main registration category.*

In-Person Cancellation Policy: A CASH REFUND, less a $150 processing fee, will be made if a written notice of cancellation is received by the IADC office more than thirty (30) days prior to the first day of the meeting. No reason for the cancellation need be provided for a timely notice of cancellation. NO CASH REFUND will be made if notice of cancellation is received by the IADC office thirty (30) days or less prior to the first day of the meeting. However, if special circumstances arise before the meeting which prevents attendance, a member may request a future meeting credit. The request needs to be in writing and submitted to the IADC office. It should be directed to the Finance Committee’s attention and note the special circumstances which caused the cancellation. The credit request can only apply to meeting registration fees (not air, hotel, activity, tour, or special event fees) and, if approved, will be valid for use toward any IADC meeting for one (1) year from the date of the meeting for which credit is requested. A $150 processing fee will be deducted from the total future meeting credit. All future meeting credit requests will be considered by the Finance Committee and the decision of that Committee will be final.

Virtual Attendee Cancellation Policy: Due to the availability of on-demand viewing following the meeting, NO CASH REFUND or future meeting credit will be processed by the IADC.

Tours and Activities Cancellation Policy: Registration for all tours and activities (to include golf, tennis, etc.) is requested by January 17, 2024.  Tours may fill prior to the January 17 deadline, so we encourage you to register early, if interested. In order to receive a full refund, cancellations of tours/special activities offered through the IADC must be received by the IADC office in writing by January 17, 2024. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded unless we are able to fill your spot.

Health and Safety
The IADC is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for meeting attendees and will follow all local requirements with regard to COVID-19. At present, that does not require attendees to be tested for COVID-19 before attending the meeting nor are masks required in any public spaces. However, we support everyone doing what makes them feel comfortable with regard to mask wearing, shaking hands, or hugging, and we ask attendees to respect the choices of others. If you are not feeling well, please refrain from attending IADC events, and we encourage you to bring and utilize COVID-19 rapid tests if you are symptomatic.

Home to LPGA and PGA events, the Soffer Course features lush fairways and verdant tropical foliage, providing a challenging and perfect setting for a round. Monday, February 19, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. SPONSORED BY THE ENGAGEMENT AND RETENTION COMMITTEE AND DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION AND BELONGING COMMITTEE Networking can be one of the most powerful and productive activities an individual can do to enhance both their professional and personal relationships. And speed-networking, taking its cue from speed-dating, has emerged as a popular variation on the traditional business networking event. Structured and fast-paced, speed-networking allows participants to interact with others in a series of brief one-on-one exchanges in a round robin type format. IADC members: Expand your IADC network and relationships and be sure to register for this event. This event is complimentary and open to IADC members ONLY, but registration is required to participate.

Meet Me at the Spa Luncheon
Tuesday, February 20, 12:30 p.m. Building on the success of informal lunch and spa afternoons at recent meetings, the IADC has made the spa luncheon an official event!  A lunch buffet will begin at 12:30 p.m. Relax at Palm Court throughout the afternoon to visit and network while you wait for your appointment at Ame Spa & Wellness Collective. The registration fee is $99.00 USD per person and includes a private lunch and beverages.  Spa appointments are not included in this fee.  Afternoon appointments at Ame Spa & Wellness Collective are being held for Meet Me at the Spa Luncheon participants.  Once registered, you will receive instructions for how to book your service. You will only be able to reserve a service during this afternoon by following these instructions for booking in the IADC block. The Empowerment Collaborative Activity: Meet the Author
Wednesday, February 21, 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.  At a young age, Christine Barker moved from New Mexico to New York City to pursue a career in dancing, which landed her in the West End and Broadway in A Chorus Line.  In a surprising development, Christine's elder brother (a father, military serviceman, ultimate corporate lawyer) connects with Perry Ellis, the fashion icon.  Christine and her theater friends and family find themselves assessing, and impacted by, a new disease which ultimately becomes widely known as the AIDS epidemic.  Third Girl from the Left is a must-read that will educate and inspire.  Plus, SPOILER-ALERT, Christine meets her husband, IADC member Bill Ruskin, on her journey!  Christine will share her perspective and will field questions during the event.  Please join us in the Smith Presidential Suite as we discuss the memoir, enjoy snacks and libations, and connect with each other!  *Please indicate the first and last names of all participants below, based on the number of tickets you've purchased.
