2022 Corporate Counsel College
April 7
- 8
Registration
Fees
IADC outside counsel members and partners of members can
attend the Corporate Counsel College only if they are accompanied by an
in-house client.*
The package registration fee is $1,795 [includes one outside counsel ($1300)
and one in-house client ($495)]. The fee for additional in-house clients is
$450/each.
For in-house counsel
and insurance executives attending on their own, the fee is $495.
*Outside
counsel members who do not yet have a confirmed in-house counsel guest may
still register for the package. When checking out, note "TBD" in all required
fields, along with YOUR state and country, when entering the in-house counsel's
information. Once determined, email Diana Leon at dleon@iadclaw.org with
your guest’s name and contact information so that she can pair them with your
existing registration. If you would like the IADC to match you with an in-house
counsel guest, please see the Match
Program information below.
IADC Health and Safety Protocols
IADC Corporate Counsel College COVID Requirements
All attendees must have proof of vaccination or negative COVID test within 72 hours to attend the meeting. Vaccination documentation can be the physical card or some form of electronic verification. (examples: photo on your phone of your vaccine card, proof of vaccine record through a pharmacy or medical provider app, your country or city’s tracking app). Vaccination means you are two weeks from completing your COVID vaccination. Boosters are strongly encouraged but not required to attend.
You will show your documentation to the IADC staff upon arrival at the registration desk to collect your registration materials and badge. If you are unvaccinated, the COVID test should be a PCR or rapid test documented with your name and the date administered. If you do not have either of these pieces of documentation, the IADC will have a limited number of rapid COVID tests available to purchase for $20 each that you can take in a private area. With the negative rapid test, you will be able to collect your badge.
General Safety Practices
We are looking forward to a safe and productive meeting. The City of Chicago currently does not require proof of vaccination or mask wearing in indoor public spaces, although masks are required on public transportation and in health care settings, and some businesses and venues may still choose to require masks/vaccination status. Local mandates may change, so the IADC will keep attendees updated and provide further information on all requirements as the CCC draws closer.
While masks are not required in Chicago, we encourage mask wearing in close indoor meeting and social situations. We also ask everyone to be respectful of people’s decisions with regard to social distancing.
By attending the IADC Corporate Counsel College, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and further acknowledge that you understand and will follow all health and safety protocols established by the IADC and hotel. Failure to abide by all health and safety protocols implemented for the event is grounds for being asked to leave the event, without refund.
Match
Program
In-house counsel and insurance
executives who would like to be hosted by outside counsel can request to be
paired with an IADC member. Similarly, outside counsel looking for an in-house
counsel to sponsor can be matched with one if their own client is unable to
attend. Outside counsel should proceed with registration while they are finding
a guest or waiting to be matched. When checking out, note "TBD" in all required fields, along with YOUR state and country, when
entering the in-house counsel's information. Please contact Amy O’Maley McGuire
at aomaley@iadclaw.org if you are interested in this match
program.
Payment
and Cancellation Policy
Registration is
available online only
and a credit card is required for payment.
A CASH REFUND, less a $150 processing fee, will be made if a
written notice of cancellation is received by the IADC office more than thirty
(30) days prior to the first day of the meeting. No reason for the cancellation
need be provided for a timely notice of cancellation.
NO CASH REFUND will be made if notice of cancellation is
received by the IADC office thirty (30) days or less prior to the first day of
the meeting. However, if special circumstances arise before the meeting which
prevent attendance, a member may request a future meeting credit. The request
needs to be in writing and submitted to the IADC office. It should be directed
to the Finance Committee’s attention and note the special circumstances which
caused cancellation. The credit request can only apply to meeting registration
fees (not air, hotel, activity, tour, or special event fees) and, if approved,
will be valid for use toward any IADC meeting for one (1) year from the date of
the meeting for which credit is requested. A $150 processing fee will be
deducted from the total future meeting credit. All future meeting credit
requests will be considered by the Finance Committee and the decision of that
Committee will be final.
